Dr. Doug is the co-author of The Trading Athlete (Wiley, 2001) and wrote the “Head Coach” column for leading industry publication Trader Monthly in both the U.S. and European editions. He is a regular contributor for CNBC and has appeared on NBC’s “Today” as well as CNBC’s “The Big Idea With Donny Deutsch,” “Millionaire Inside,” “Morning Call,” “Street Signs,” “Power Lunch,” “Squawk on the Street,” “Fast Money,” “High Net Worth,” “Closing Bell” and VH1’s “The Fabulous Life.”

Dr. Doug is the chief executive officer of Edge Consulting, a consulting firm specializing in “Peak Performance Coaching.”  Dr. Doug holds a Ph.D. in Psychology with a specialization in Sport Psychology. He was the catcher and captain of his Division I baseball team. After graduation, Dr. Doug spent several years as a floor trader at the Chicago Board of Trade.
